The time is drawing nigh for a resumption of our usual Geezer Lunch Ride schedule. We will be kicking off the season of lunch rides this Thursday, June 28, with a visit to the Alameda County Fair. The Fair is celebrating its 100-year anniversary.
We will leave the club hall @ 11:00 a.m., rather than our usual starting time. We'll enjoy a fairly short "twisty" ride to the Fair and partake of the many food opportunities to be found there.
Horse racing is scheduled for the afternoon, and it will be "senior appreciation day" with all 62+ being admitted for free (finally, some respect!). Parking fee still applies, however.
I hope you can join us.
